A celebration of three decades of dance music in the north west is coming to Bolton.

Sub Culture Live will be coming to Toughsheet Stadium from 6pm to 2am on Saturday, September 21.

The event will take place immediately after the Wanderers face off against Reading on home turf.

Final release tickets are available at £33.25 on Skiddle.

Despite a 3,000-person capacity, the event is nearly sold out.

Acts performing include Bolton’s The Blackout Crew and Oldham duo N-Trance, while the event will be hosted by acts including Bolton’s own Aggz.

Event organiser Andrew Gidney, who hails from Darcy Lever himself, said the production would be like nothing Bolton had ever seen before.

Speaking to The Bolton News, the 38-year-old said: “Everything’s going to be state of the art – state of the art sound, state of the art screens and production, effects, confetti, obviously world-class singers and international artists.

“It’s going to be the biggest show Bolton’s put on for dance music ever. I’m hoping we can get the rest of Bolton behind it.

“Bolton are playing the same day at the stadium, so an hour after full-time we open our doors, I think with the football it’s going to be tremendous if we win.

“We’re nearly sold out online now – it’s looking like something Bolton’s not seen before.”
