A new convenience store staged a party for the community as it celebrated its opening in Little Lever.
A grand opening was held over the weekend as SMS and Sons Group opened it latest store, Premier Market Street.
Children enjoyed the fun of a bouncy castle, and there was a outdoor DJ set, along with balloon modelling - and free giveaways.
They included produce, Carrs pasties and goodie bags.
Mayor of Bolton Cllr Andy Morgan officially opened the shop before taking part in a 'supermarket sweep' game in which he filled his trolley with £83.38 of goods.
SMS and Sons Group matched that amount, donating £83.38 to each of the mayor's chosen charities — Bolton Hospice, Bolton FM, Bolton Wanderers in the Community and the Darren Deady Foundation.
A spokesman for SMS and Sons Group said: "The event not only highlighted Premier Market Street's commitment to community engagement but also showcased the store's dedication to supporting local causes.
"The local response was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting a strong sense of community spirit and appreciation for the new addition to Little Lever’s retail landscape."
Cllr Morgan said: "As part of the visit we were allowed to partake in a trolley dash for 60 seconds with the total amount of money for the items in our trolley being very generously donated to the Mayor’s Charities fund.
"We managed to check out with a grand total of £83.38 which we thought was amazing but they very kindly multiplied by four which meant they very donated a huge £333.52 to the Mayor’s Charities.
"Good luck with you new venture."
