A wanted man was arrested after jumping out of a window in a bid to escape police officers, officers say.
Police say that they saw the man, who was wanted on recall to prison, on Halliwell Road in Bolton on the evening of Saturday September 14.
He then ran off and a chase ensued through a flat and out of a window before the man was eventually caught.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “On Saturday evening, September 14, officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team identified a male who was wanted on recall to prison on Halliwell Road.
“The man ran off from officers, into a flat and then jumped out of a window. He was detained nearby and arrested.
“He was taken to custody and was taken back to prison on Sunday.”
Police often put out appeals for suspects who are wanted for various reasons, often on recall to prison, around Bolton and elsewhere across the Greater Manchester region.
