Bolton’s annual Health Mela returns next month offering a wide range of health-related services and valuable resources for individuals looking to take charge of their wellbeing.
The Health Mela is organised by the University of Bolton in collaboration with the NHS Bolton Foundation Trust and will take place 5th October from 10am to 3pm.
Registration for the free event is now open and will be held at the University of Bolton Greater Manchester's Social Learning Zone, Chancellor’s Mall.
It will offer a wide range of health-related services and activities, making it a valuable resource for individuals looking to take charge of their wellbeing.
By participating, individuals can access important health screenings and information that may otherwise be costly or inaccessible.
The event includes a free lunch and aims to promote a proactive approach to health, encouraging attendees to take charge of their wellness and seek support for any concerns.
Services include free health assessments including weight, height and BMI, free blood pressure check-ups, advice on healthy living, exercise, smoking and alcohol abuse and nutritional advice.
