Patients at Royal Bolton Hospital are helping to shape the future of care and treatment.
A small team of nursing, medical and operational staff visited 34 wards to speak to patients as part of ‘100 Voices’ initiative, which is designed is to open up conversations with patients about their care and improve what people experience when they receive care and treatment in the future.
The conversation was focused around how the patient was feeling, their understanding of the care they received, and their involvement with getting ready to return to the comfort of the place they call home.

Tyrone Roberts, Chief Nursing Officer at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Feedback from our patients is so important in enabling us to make positive changes to our services and the quality of the care we provide.
“Whilst we’re always listening to what our patients have to say, hearing their stories during this initiative has been a really powerful way for us understand what we’re doing well, and what could be better next time.
“Thank you all of our patients who gave up their time to speak to staff and to make sure their voices are heard."
