A child has been taken to hospital after a crash on Chorley New Road.
Greater Manchester Police were called to Chorley New Road near Mottram Street following reports of a crash at around 4.20pm today (Monday, September 9).
A child, believed to be a teenager, was taken to hospital with injuries that GMP says are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

No arrests have been made, according to Greater Manchester Police.
A cordon was put in place around the site of the crash for hours following the incident, with the road fully reopening at 7pm.
Buses had been diverted – with the 576 and 575 diverted via Winter Hey Lane and Lee Lane in both directions.
Motor vehicles were not allowed in the area while the cordon was in place, with residents escorted to their homes by officers on foot.

The crash comes days after council officials restated concerns over road safety in the borough following crashes elsewhere in the borough - on St Helens Road and Derby Street.
North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
