A non-profit organisation which aims to change lives through poetry is coming to Bolton this weekend for an open mic spoken word event.
Write Out Loud, a national community interest company, encourages those who write and enjoy poetry to share their words with others in a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere.
The group hosts open-floor monthly poetry nights across the north of England including events in Marsden, Huddersfield, Stockport, Sale and Wigan.
The coveted event will be coming to Bolton on Sunday, September 8 with doors opening at 7pm at the Headspace Centre on Wood Street as advertised on social media.

Tickets are £2 and the event will feature fourteen open mic spots with a sign-up sheet at the door for those interested in participating.
Among the guest readers is the winner of this year’s Plough Poetry Prize, Trystan Lewis, whose poem "Don’t Tell Dad" was among the highly commended poets.
Trystan was encouraged to start writing poetry again by the audience’s positive reaction to his performance at Morecambe Poetry Festival in 2022.
The event has no bar, and guests are encouraged to bring their own drinks.
Those interested in attending can contact Dave.morgan@livefromworktown.co.uk.
