Bolton Police officers have thanked an unidentified member of the public for their help in restraining an ‘aggressive female’ in Bolton town centre.
According to the force, the woman was restrained on Churchgate on Friday, August 30.

Now, the woman has been charged with two counts of police assault with intent to resist arrest, two counts of police assaults, and a common assault.
Bolton Police said officers from the force’s C Relief Response team did not get the chance to thank the member of the public, who left the area.

In a post on Facebook, Bolton Police said: “Officers from C Relief Response at Bolton would like to say thank you to a member of the public who assisted in the restraining of an aggressive female on Churchgate in Bolton town centre yesterday.
“The female has now been charged two x police assault with intent to resist arrest, two x police assaults and a common assault.
“The member of public left the area before Officers could thank them last night.”
