Hot on the heels of Bolton Food and Drink Festival is the return of the popular Festival of Flavours at RHS Garden Bridgewater in Worsley - with Bolton's own TV chef making an appearance.
The festival is billed as a 'vibrant celebration of growing and cooking' there will be live cookery demonstrations, edible garden tours, food markets and expert advice for those wanting to live the 'Good Life'.
The Festival of Flavours is now in its third year and will take place from September 13 to 15 and will feature Great British Bake Off The Professionals star Andrew Harwood, from Heaton, who set up Harwoods Patisserie.
Visitors can expect a mouth-watering programme of cookery demonstrations and tantalising talks.
The weekend will be filled with culinary inspiration, with the main stage hosting live demos from celebrity chef Ching-He Huang, Ben Chaplin from Salford’s The Black Friar and expert local producers.
Foodies can also look forward to talks from local producers offering top tips on everything plot-to-plate and edible tours of the Kitchen Garden.
RHS team members and volunteers will also share their love of growing, cooking — and eating, creating delicious recipes using ingredients grown and harvested from the Kitchen Garden.

Harwoods Patisserie opens in Westhoughton’s Provenance Food Hall
Visitors can sample goodies from artisan makers of honey, preserves and cheese and meet some inspiring people who have turned their back on the nine-to-five for a taste of ‘The Good Life’.
There will be food stalls which are guaranteed to ignite the senses with the tastes and smells of the food and drink on offer from local producers and pick up ingredients to cook with at home.
