A new grant programme has been launched to fund partnership projects in Bolton.
Bolton CVS and Bolton's Fund have set up the scheme to support innovative projects by voluntary, community, or social enterprises.
The projects must be a collaboration between at least two organisations and aim to benefit Bolton communities.
The grants will provide up to £35,000 for partnerships to deliver projects over a maximum period of 12 months.
One organisation must take on the lead role in the partnership.
The funds can be used for a variety of projects, including those that assist children, keep people active in their communities, or improve the environment.
The grants can also cover the costs of starting a new activity or extending a project to reach more beneficiaries.
This includes project-related costs such as administration, staffing, volunteer expenses, and essential equipment.
Beth Warriner, chief operating officer at Bolton CVS, said: "We are so excited to launch this new partnership grant programme, which will create lasting benefits for our community.
"Collaboration is built into our organisational values here at Bolton CVS, and I’ve been fortunate enough to see first-hand the benefit and strength of partnership working across Bolton.
"When like-minded organisations work towards a shared goal, unrivalled impact is achieved, and lives are changed for the better."
Cllr Rabiya Jiva, Bolton Council’s executive cabinet member for stronger communities, said: "The launch of the new partnership grant initiative is set to further support Bolton's vibrant and diverse VCSE sector.
"When organisations with shared visions unite, the results are extraordinary, transforming lives for the better."
Applications for grants opened on Monday, August 12, and there are deadlines every two months throughout the year.
The first closing date for applications is Sunday, November 3.
The second closing date is Sunday, January 5.
