The first full day of the Bolton Food and Drink Festival concluded with entertaining music.
People gathered in Le Mans Crescent to enjoy music including tribute acts to David Bowie and Dolly Parton.
With a number of food outlets still serving including coffee and donuts, shawarma, gyros, sausages and chip and a bar open people saw out the end of the day in style.
The crowd got excited as Jolene was blasted out.
Among those who enjoyed the day were Dianne and Nigel Cooke from the Happy Hippies band.
They performed between 5pm and 7pm then came along to enjoy the music.
Dianne said: “We also came to see the rock choir and Dolly is fantastic.
“We have got food as well.
“We come every year and we played at the market”
Another who enjoyed the day was Rachel Patrick.
The 36-year-old charity worker from Egerton said: “I have been down since about 3pm.
“I have been coming for the last however many years.
“I have had some pulled pork which is great.
“It is a good vibe and good food.
“I was born in Bolton and it is great so see so many people here.”
Another person there at the end was Charlie Blain.
The 75-year-old retired man from Tyldesley said: “I has been great, I have not been before.
“I got some coconut fans, I am not a big Dolly Parton fan but they seem to be enjoying it.
“I will be back again.”
David Walsh was another who enjoyed the day.
The 40-yea-rold web developer from Farnworth said: “I have been here for about three hours.
“I had some Halloumi Fries and Gyros.
“I have been here every year since it has started.
“It has been well done."
