One Turton School student is starting a new journey in Manchester after receiving her GCSE results.
Ellie Taylor achieved two eights, three 7s and five 6s in her GCSE exams and will continue to do A-levels at Loreto Sixth Form College in Manchester.
Ellie said: “I’m happy to have done well and have got the grades I needed to get into college.
“It’s honestly such a relief to get my grades, it’s all I’ve been thinking about today hoping that I’ve done well.
“I’m hoping to study geography, biology and maths at college as I would like a career that involves the environment.”
“I’m excited to start at Loreto and am looking forward to the campus atmosphere at the college. I went to a couple of their taster days and I really enjoyed it there. The teachers seemed lovely so I’m looking forward to starting.”
