Police and paramedics were mobilised to Station Road in Blackrod to help a woman.

Paramedics treated her before being taken to hospital.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 12.20pm today, August 21, to a report of a concern for the welfare of a woman on Station Road in Blackrod.
"Emergency services including officers from North West Ambulance Service attended and a woman was taken to hospital where she remains."
