Police raided a house to discover more than 100 cannabis plants.
Officers executed a warrant at a property on Roosevelt Road, Kearsley, where they say they found a substantial cannabis farm.
A man, 34, has been arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.
Officers say he was also found to be wanted for a breach of a court order in London.

A GMP Bolton spokesperson: "Bolton South Neighbourhood Team have today executed a S23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on Roosevelt Road, Kearsley.
"A substantial cannabis farm was located within the address, with a total of 116 plants.
"A male, aged 34, was arrested at the address on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity. It transpires that he was also wanted for a breach of court order in London.
"He remains in custody for questioning."
One nearby resident said: "They got here at around 6.45am this morning and were gone by around 9.15pm.
"I heard it was relating to cannabis, you can see tin foil in the window."
Another said: "We heard it was a cannabis growth, you can definitely smell it."
