A girl has gone missing earlier this week with police appealing to the public to help find her.
The girl, named by police as “Payton” was last seen in Leigh on Thursday, August 15 at around 1.45pm.
Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned about here and have appealed for anyone who may have seen her to come forward.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Can you help police find a missing girl from Leigh?
“Payton was last seen in Leigh on 15/08/24 at 1.45pm.
“She is described as slim build, five feet, four inches tall with brown shoulder length straight hair.
“She was last seen wearing, black leggings, grey top, khaki green bomber jacket, Converse boots.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about her and want to make sure she is safe and well.”

Police often issue appeals like these aimed at encouraging members of the public who may recognise or have seen people who have gone missing to come forward.
As yet no further details have been released about Payton’s age or about where in Leigh she was last seen earlier this week on Thursday.
But officers say that anyone with any information about her whereabouts should call them on 101 and quote MSP/06LL/0002072/24.
