A suspected stolen car was found earlier this week while police were carrying out searches.
Officers say they found the damaged silver car off Addington Road, Bolton. while carrying out searches in the south west of Bolton on the morning of Thursday August 15.
On looking closer it turned out that the car appeared to have been stolen from somewhere in the Halliwell area.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Whilst executing a warrant this morning the Rumworth and Hulton Neighbourhood Policing Team came across a vehicle parked on the car park off Addington Road.
“The vehicle had damage to the windows and front wheel.
“Checks confirmed the vehicle was an outstanding stolen from the Halliwell area.
“The vehicle has been recovered and further enquiries are ongoing to locate the person(s) responsible.”
Images supplied by police show the car to have had damaged wing mirrors, broken windows and a broken wheel.

It was found amidst a series of arrests and police operations carried out across Bolton on Thursday August 15.
