Four people have been arrested this morning as part of an “ongoing” police crackdown.

The arrests took place on Thistleton Road, between Deane and Hunger Hill in the south west of Bolton.

Police say that this is part of ongoing action all over Bolton aimed at cracking down on “criminal activity.”

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers in Bolton executed warrants on Thistleton Road this morning, resulting in four arrests.

“This is part of the ongoing efforts by officers across the borough to crack down on criminal activity, provide crime prevention advice, and maintain a visible police presence.”

A video released by police on the scene on Thistleton Road shows the arrests taking place and several people being led away by police.

This comes amid long running concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour in Bolton and further afield across Greater Manchester in recent months and years.
