Wanderers will learn their opponents in the Carabao Cup second round tonight. Here are all the details you need.

Ian Evatt’s men ensured they will be in the hat, beating Mansfield Town on penalties following a 1-1 draw at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

George Thomason’s moment of magic appeared to have put the Whites on track for victory but Davis Keillor-Dunn got the visitors back on level terms eight minuets from time.

Luke Southwood was the hero in the shoot-out on his full debut, denying Aaron Lewis and Will Swan from 12 yards.

When is the draw?

The draw takes place live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports News following the conclusion of Leeds’ tie against Middlesbrough, which is expected to be around 10pm.

Most Premier League clubs join the competition at this stage. The only exceptions are Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United, who join in the third round due to their involvement in European competition.

Fleetwood, Colchester and Harrogate were among the League Two clubs who caused upsets in the opening round.

When will ties be played?

Second-round fixtures will take place in the week commencing Monday, August 26 which means Wanderers will have a fixture between the trip to Charlton and the home game against Exeter.

The competition remains regionalised at this stage and matches will again go straight to penalties if the scores are level after 90 minutes.

This season, every Carabao Cup tie is being broadcast live on Sky Sports + for viewers in the UK as part of a record new rights deal.
