A car has been seized after its driver “put many people’s lives in danger” after speeding off from police, officers say.
The black Audi was spotted by police on Monday, August 12 being driven in the Little Hulton area.
Officers gave chase and eventually managed to bring the car to a stop.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This vehicle attracted our officers' attention in the Little Hulton area by its erratic manor of driving.
“When officers requested the vehicle to stop it made off from our police patrol and drove off at speed which put many people’s lives in danger by its reckless speed and erratic manoeuvres.
“The pursuit didn't last very long with it being abandoned on a residential street still in the Little Hulton area.
“The occupants made off seconds before our patrol reaching the vehicle.
“This car has now been seized and will be forensically examined by our CSI officers as it is believed to be used in criminality.
