More famous faces have been announced for this year's Bolton Food and Drink Festival as something new is served up this year.
Mayor of Bolton Cllr Andy Morgan will be hosting the Mayor's Prosecco Picnic Platter, where he will be joined by some famous faces, including chef and TV personality Rustie Lee, Helen McGinn, of Saturday Kitchen fame, chef Robert Owen Brown and Masterchef winner Simon Wood
The event will take place on Sunday, August 25 at 3pm.
Guest will be greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a special demo from Rustie and an insightful and engaging Q and A session with mentioned special guests, presented by Michelle Eagleton.
Cllr Morgan said: "The afternoon should be a really fun afternoon with Rustie Lee, television personality, chef, and actress, known for her amazing laugh!
"Also joining us is Helen McGinn, author of the “The Knackered Mother’s Wine Guide” and regular contributor on “Saturday Kitchen” and “This Morning”.
"Finishing our amazing lineup are Manchester's very own top chefs, Robert Owen Brown, renowned for his expertise in traditional British cuisine, and one of the festivals regular’s and favourites,Simon Wood (Master Chef winner 2015).
"Who doesn’t like a few summer bubbles, bites, and a bit of banter? Let’s celebrate all things Bolton and show everyone we are so much stronger together than we are divided."

Ainsley Harriott is set to join the star-studded chef line-up for the 2024 Bolton Food and Drink Festival.
Regarded as one of the best chefs in the world, Ainsley will be making his fourth appearance at the UK's biggest food and drink festival.
Fellow TV chef, James Martin, is also on the roster for the four-day event taking place from Friday, August 23 to Monday, August 26.
A murder mystery night will also be on the menu as the new Sheer Luck Holmes show rolls into town.
It is billed as an immersive murder mystery night designed to keep guests guessing.
The show will be two hours long and a three course meal will be served to all participants.
And also over the bank holiday festival, an hilarious dining experience returns to Bolton as part of the popular food and drink festival.
