One of Bolton's most famous sons is set to delve into his family history.
'Who Do You Think You Are?' - the popular BBC show that takes a close look at celeb's ancestry - unveils Paddy McGuinness as its latest celebrity guest.
Known for his work on 'Take Me Out' and 'Top Gear', the comedian meets genealogist Michala Hulme to learn about his family history.
McGuinness is reportedly particularly interested in his grandfather's key role in world war two and another's involvement in the Boer War.
The journey also navigates family roots back to Ireland, leading to his hometown of Bolton.
Paddy grew up with his mum in Auburn Street, Daubhill, and went to Mount St Joseph High School.
Who Do You Think You Are? is on BBC1 at 9pm on Thursday, August 22.
