Raise your glasses — a date for Bolton Beer Festival has been set.
The popular festival will return on Thursday, October 10 for four days with drinks to suit everybody, with more than 200 real ales, lagers, ciders, gin, wine and Prosecco on the menu.
The festival raises money for Bolton Lads and Girls Club and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
With a variety of live music, including from Clint Boon of Inspiral Carpets fame and performances, the club is confident there will be a great sense of fun to be had by all those attending.
Kelly McFadden, director of fundraising and communications at BLGC said: “The Beer Festival has the biggest social event in the Bolton calendar, and we are delighted that we can return this year, and we look forward to welcoming everyone safely to the festival.”
“The services of our charity are needed now more than ever, all the money raised will go back into the core services at the club. As always, we are so grateful to everyone for the continual support we receive every year.”

Bolton Beer Festival runs from Thursday, October 10th to Saturday 12th October, and will be hosted at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Due to the popularity of the event which in previous years has attracted more than 8,000 visitors each year, organisers are advising those wishing to sponsor the event, or to attend to book their tickets early by visiting the Beer Festival website at www.beer-festival.co.uk.
With the festival being one of the biggest crowd drawers of the year, local businesses are said to be lining up to get their names on show by sponsoring visual displays at the event.
This year the Bolton Beer Festival boasts music from Mr Wilson’s Second Liners, and the brilliant Clint Boon, as well as a “Boogie Bingo” event on the Thursday evening.
