A missing teenage girl who was last seen several weeks ago could be in Bolton, police say.
The 15-year-old girl who police have named as Katelan was last seen nearly two weeks ago in Durham City on July 23 this year.
Officers say that she has links to Bolton as well as other towns across the North West.
Detective Chief Inspector Mel Sutherland, from Durham Constabulary, said: “We are very concerned for Katelan’s welfare and are appealing to the public to report any possible sightings of her to us.
“Katelan lives in Newton Aycliffe, but has links to the Cleveland area, as well as West Yorkshire, Liverpool, and Manchester.”
Police say that Katelan also has links to Bolton, Preston, Burnley, Bradford and Halifax.
They say that she was wearing a grey sweater, grey leggings, a long black puffer jacket, black Nike trainers and large diamante earrings.

“She may be in Manchester or Bolton.”
