Emergency services were called out to a shopping precinct earlier today to help get a man to hospital.
A Police car and ambulances were reported to have been behind the Home Bargains just off Market Street and Brackley Street in Farnworth at just before 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
There they helped to take a man to hospital after a medical episode and have reported that he appears to be in a good condition.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Brackley Street at around 3.50pm to reports of a man having a cardiac arrest.
“He’s been taken to hospital for further treatment but he appears to be conscious, breathing and is OK.”
