A road was taped off this evening following a crash which left a car on its side.
The crash happened on Ainsworth Lane, Tonge Moor, just before 11pm.
A number of parked cars were damaged in the crash.
One eye witness told The Bolton News: "The road was shut from the Thicketford Road side for around 200 yards, with a car on its side.
"Around five cars were damaged and another one which was parked further up.
"There were two fire engines and four police cars. An ambulance was on the scene as well.
"Crews are now leaving the scene, but the road is closed because the overturned car is still in the middle of the road and there is broken glass everywhere.
"The police helicopter was also circling in the area, over Ticketford Road and Seven Acres Country Park."
He added: "The ambulance is still on the scene but other emergency services are leaving."
Residents came out their homes after hearing the crash.
There have been a number of crashes on Ainsworth Lane, including one in September last year, which left a number of parked cars damaged.
