Bolton's talent show "Stars for a Night" is making a grand return on October 6 at The Octagon Theatre.
The contest, which enjoyed success in its inaugural run, invites talents to display their skills and potentially follow in the footsteps of last year's champion, stand-up comedian Adam Adwar.
The quest to find Bolton's next sensation is now on, with organisers, Backup North West, encouraging talented individuals connected with Bolton and aged 14 and above, to participate.
The competition is backed substantially by The Bolton News and Bolton FM.
Maura Jackson, chief executive of Backup said: "I wanted to host an event that showcases the talent we have across Bolton."
She revealed the competition's underlying objective to provide an opportunity that's "free, fun and brings elements of the community together".
Looking forward to the event, Jackson is hopeful that "this year we want it to be even bigger".
The show promises to be a launchpad for amateurs involved in singing, dancing, comedy, magic and other performing arts.
To take part, aspiring performers must submit a video of their talent, no more than five minutes long, before the deadline on August 18, 2024.
Winners receive a £250 cash prize.
The grand finale event will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2.00pm.
