Police are appealing for witnesses after shocking footage emerged this week showing an officer kicking the head of a man.
Officers have broken this into three separate incidents.
They say the first involved an altercation between passengers from the Qatar Airways fight which arrived at 7.20pm on Tuesday and may have taken place during the flight or afterwards in the T2 baggage hall.
Police say the second was a violent altercation involving members of the public in the T2 Starbucks at 8.22pm.
Officers say the third is the attack on three police officers which occurred in the T2 car park pay point area at 8.28pm which resulted in three officers receiving head injuries including a broken nose.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is independently investigating the use of force by GMP officers which took place afterwards and has been shared widely on social media this week.
