It might be July but in one pub in Bolton this weekend people could have thought it was December.
Staff at the Balmoral in the town centre donned costumes as Christmas came to town out of season.
There were three singers who entertained the crowds and raffles with top prizes available.
Those who turned up enjoyed a buffet alongside the festive entertainment.
The main item up for grabs was a signed Bolton Wanderers top of Gethin Jones.
Danny Loynd runs the pub alongside Zoe Bell.
He explained where the idea came from.
He said: "I just to be the DJ at The Griffin pub and they did this there.
"Now I've got my own pub I have brought it with me.
"We have done it for two years now and it is always popular.
"We have a raffle prize which includes a bar tab, a hamper and a signed Bolton shirt.
"We are raising money for The Fortalice, a Bolton-based charity which is a refuge for women who have suffered domestic violence."
