Police attended reports of a robbery in the early hours of Saturday morning (July 27).
A witness shared that they had seen a police helicopter “in the air for couple of hours” and heard police vehicles “going fast” on Blackburn Road in the town.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called out to a reported robbery on Halliwell Road in Bolton at 2.15am.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed that “no arrests have been made at this stage but enquiries are ongoing”.
No injuries have been reported.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed that no fire crews were in attendance.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) has been contacted for comment.
