Jet2 has announced the expansion of its winter sun programme for holidaymakers looking to make the most of the good weather abroad before the end of the year.
Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays already offered Canary Island flights and holidays from Manchester Airport but now there is more available for winter 2024/2025.
The airline explained that the decision to expand the programme to the Canaries is due to the demand from customers.
Winter 24/25 represents Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ biggest ever Winter Sun programme to the Canary Islands, with more than 2.25 million seats on sale, representing a 15% capacity increase.

This programme means over 225 weekly departures to the Canaries from the UK at key periods during the winter.

Jet2 adds more flights to Canary Islands from Manchester Airport
Among the additional flights that are now available from Manchester Airport are two additional weekly services (Saturdays and Sundays) to Lanzarote. These will operate from February 1 until March 29, 2025.
If you’d like to visit Tenerife, you’ll have more options with the additional weekly Thursday services. These will operate from February 6 until March 27, 2025.
Holidaymakers looking to book a trip to Gran Canaria can take advantage of the additional weekly Saturday services which will operate on February 15, 22 and 29 in 2025.
The airline has also added more Canary Islands flights from other UK airports such as Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands and Newcastle International.
