Three men have been arrested in connection with a city centre robbery on June 16.
The men reportedly attacked a man in his 20s with a bottle on Market Street, Manchester around 3am but the victim escaped life-threatening injuries.
"This is an example of our ongoing work into investigations where we continue to track and trace suspects by utilising a number of methods," said Detective Inspector Natalie McDonald.
She added: "Alongside our proactive patrols and briefings, we managed to identify and then locate three people we strongly believe are linked to this incident."
The men, aged 18, 18, and 29, remain in custody for questioning.
