A Ribble Valley restaurant has been named in this year's Good Food Guide.
Grindleton gastro pub The Rum Fox has been selected in the publication's top 100 restaurants.
The award acknowledges independently run restaurants which provide seasonal menus, demonstrate strong relationships with local suppliers and are rooted in the local community.
Having only opened in March last year, after a petition from locals, The Rum Fox offers a wide choice for foodies and casual diners.
Owned by head chef Bob Geldard, former head chef at the Duke of York in Grindleton, and run by Bob's partner Kiaja, the Rum Fox promises an unforgettable dining experience with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients.
Geldard said: "It means everything to us, all the hard work that we have put in.
"We are still quite a new business and still building on what we have done so far so it means an awful lot."
And Geldard admitted that the team had missed the deadline to ask their customers too nominate them.
He added: "It was a bit of a surprise. We are very happy that we have good customers who have been very loyal to us and people who I have been cooking for over a long time have nominated us and it's a really nice surprise.
Utilising what’s in season, Geldard has both an a la carte tasting menu and traditional pub food options.
Geldard: "Grindleton had been without a pub for five years. We spent a lot of money extending the pub so it is not just a place for food.
"It is very much a local pub and we feel very supported by the local village. We have really good customers and it's a great meeting place that has brought the community back together."
The restaurant offers its seasonal and tasting menus Wednesday to Saturday and the additional offerings of roast beef or pork on a Sunday.
And its quality food offerings and expansive rum collection has been a hit with the locals.

Hanmuzz from Preston commented: "This place outshines everywhere, the ambience, staff and décor are lovely, however the food is stand out."
Elsewhere in Lancashire, Blackpool’s authentic Indian restaurant A Se Anar makes the list.
Opened by former special educational needs teacher Renuka Morris the Highfield Road restaurant embodies her love for cooking and providing to the local community.
Alongside her husband Colin she renovated a former retail unit into an Asian hybrid restaurant following the pandemic.
The menu tells the story of her life – combining her upbringing in Calcutta with western methods learnt in England she has created a menu that brings the strong flavours of India to an Anglican pallet.
And this unique Pan Asian style has been a hit with the local community.

"The food and flavours of every dish are superb and very delicious. The owner and staff are kind, attentive and very friendly."
Heather Cross from Blackpool added: "What a delightful surprise. Staff were delightful and the food was perfect."
