Two stores in Bolton are expected to close within days as part of the closures of a chain nationwide.
Carpetright, which sells floor covers and beds, has been bought in a rescue deal by rival Tapi.
But despite this 200 stores and 1,000 jobs are expected to go in the following days.

The deal will not save the majority of the business and 213 stores are expected to close.
Among those included are one in the Bolton Gate Retail Park in the town centre and also the one within the Furniture Village at the Middlebrook Retail Park.
Others nearby which are expected to close include ones in Altrincham, Ashton under Lyne, Blackburn, Trafford Park, Manchester as well as Rochdale.
