Footage released by police show a chase between officers and a suspected drug dealer from Blackpool and to Greater Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police Traffic Unit say both Lancashire and Cheshire constabularies were involved in a pursuit last night.
The driver was said to have hit speeds of up to 140mph.
The distance from Blackpool to Greater Manchester is at least 40 miles.

A GMP spokesperson explained how the lengthy pursuit came to an end once the driver entered the Greater Manchester area.
He said: "Brave Greater Manchester Police officers deployed specialist tactics, a stinger a high speed, disabling the offender's car brining it to a safe stop."
Footage uploaded by police shows the car being surrounded and forced to a stop before officers approach and open the door.
One regular police vehicle and another unmarked one can be seen forcing the driver to the side of the road before he is detained.
Police say that the driver was wanted for suspected drug offences.
