A primary school underwent a week-long celebration to mark its 50th anniversary.
The fete included a range of engaging activities mirroring Lostock Primary School's ethos, with cultural and community events taking centre stage.
The week's events, running from Monday, July 15, commenced with a special assembly featuring the mayor and mayoress of Bolton.
They engaged with the young students, answering their queries about Bolton and their own legacies.
A community interaction followed with talks focusing on charity events and fundraising.
The day culminated with the couple planting a "golden" rose bush and embarking on a brief school tour.
The celebrations continued with culinary sessions, including coffee and cake events.
Parents and family members were invited to join the festivities and look through many memorabilia, including original 1974 class registers, archived news articles and old photographs.
Year five dancers charmed the audience with a special "Hustle" dance routine, a nod to the 70s vibe.
The iconic day of the festivity fell on Thursday, a day earmarked for "Lostock’s Got Talent".
The young ones turned up dressed either in period-appropriate 70’s outfits or golden ensembles.
Judged by the executive team from Leverhulme Trust, the maiden act featured an Abba tribute band, including the Headteacher, Mrs Vicki Guest, and teachers Laura Tunstall, Drew Kelly and Ben Hargrove.
Labeled "Lostock Lions", the victorious performers were Year four students who curated their own musical piece about the Lostock family.
The joyful week's grand ending was marked with a whole school assembly, featuring a mix of speeches and performances by the Headteacher and Chair of Governors, Mrs Bev True.
It was attended by friends of Lostock, including ex-staff and governors, who later toured the school and enjoyed cream tea.
Headteacher, Mrs Vicki Guest said: "What a week and what a year.
"Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 50th anniversary celebrations... On behalf of the entire Lostock Primary School community, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for being a part of this remarkable journey.
"Here's to 50 years of success, growth, and cherished memories."
