The council is launching a summer slate of free children's activities this weekend.
The plans aim to celebrate the town's victory as the Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2024.
From July 20 to August 31, public spaces like libraries, parks, and youth community centres will host workshops, crafts, performances, and creative activities.
The programme, boasting offerings of dance workshops, musical games, 3D art, bag printing, clay sculpting, pop-up theatres, and art in the park sessions, with the Hapa Zome activity held at both the Bromley Cross Library and Harwood Library on July 20.
Here, children can experiment with a Japanese art technique that employs flowers on fabric to create distinctive patterns and images.
Native African Caribbean dance sessions will also be held at the Little Lever Library and Farnworth library on the same day.
For those interested, full information regarding the variety of available activities can be accessed and downloaded on the Bolton Library and Museum website.
Alternatively, a physical copy of the programme is available at the Bolton Central Library.
Bolton's Town of Culture accolade launched officially in May at the Octagon Theatre, the victorious result of an enterprising bid that emphasised the culture as Bolton's very lifeblood.
The bid built upon the aims of the recently launched cultural strategy, centred around the Bolton Vision of 2030.
Bolton Council's executive cabinet member for culture, Cllr Nadeem Ayub, said: "The opportunity to bid for the Greater Manchester Town of Culture came at a perfect time that tied into our new Cultural Strategy.
"This has all played a big part in winning this year’s Town of Culture grant, and we’re delighted to use this to help further build up our local arts, heritage, history, and film offer."
Bolton is the fourth town to be awarded the Greater Manchester Town of Culture, following successful programmes in Bury, Stalybridge and Stockport.
As part of the prize, Bolton received a £50,000 grant to support local projects.
Updates and additional information on events can be sought from the Bolton Town of Culture's official Facebook and Instagram pages.
