Access to reproductive healthcare in Manchester is set to expand with the opening of a new MSI UK abortion clinic on July 10.

The clinic is located in the Fabric Building on Queen Street, central Manchester.

It will offer NHS-funded medical abortion care up to nine weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.

Additionally, clients can benefit from counselling and post-abortion contraception.

The clinic operates from 9am to 5pm on weekdays.

This addition fortifies MSI UK's pre-existing network of clinics in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire area, providing a variety of reproductive healthcare services.

The services include medical and surgical abortion care, accessible from distinct locations like the MSI Reproductive Choices Manchester (Fallowfield) Regional Treatment Centre.

The Fallowfield centre is the first abortion clinic in England to receive an 'outstanding' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Chris Bain, regional general manager for MSI Reproductive Choices in Manchester, said: "I’m so pleased to announce the opening of our new clinic in Central Manchester.

"The central, accessible location will improve access to our essential healthcare services, and support people to take control of their reproductive health.

"Choice is at the heart of everything we do at MSI UK, and we are proud to be expanding our network of clinics so that people can access high-quality abortion care across Manchester."
