The Asda Foundation is providing more than £1 million in funding to rejuvenate community spaces nationwide.
This significant support comes through its Investing in Spaces and Places grants, providing funds from £10,000 to £25,000 to community groups across the UK.
Applications for the grants will be open until Sunday, July 28.
However, the process may close earlier because of high demand.
Groups keen to apply can inspect the criteria and submit their applications through the Asda Foundation website.
The grants can be used for a variety of improvements such as renovations, repairs, and transformative transformations.
Past projects funded by these grants have included the renovation of a community kitchen and café, roof repairs, refurbishment of a community building to enhance accessibility, and the creation of outdoor nature and sensory trails.
In 2023, the Asda Foundation issued grants amounting to more than £600,000 to 31 community groups.
Martin Kendal, communications and impact advisor at Asda Foundation, added: "Investing in Spaces and Places is the Asda Foundation’s higher value grant, with funding of up to £25,000 available per group to enable communities across the UK to have a safe space for people to be together.
"We want to continue playing our part in helping to provide safe and welcoming community spaces for people to come together."
Interested organisations can make their application submission directly to the Asda Foundation website.
Successful applications will be announced in September.
