A Bolton man has been penalised for driving while disqualified.
Vincent Murray was behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia on Chorley New Road in the town last month.
The 61-year-old had no insurance of the vehicle and was banned from driving.
He admitted the two offences at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.
Following this he was given a sentence of eight weeks suspended for a year.

He was ordered to do a drug treatment requirement for six months, attend at 25 rehabilitation requirement activity days was banned from the roads for a period of 43 months.
The reasons for the custodial sentence were that he has a “flagrant disregard for court orders” but it was suspended as “there is a willing prospect of rehabilitation” and he is “willing to comply with the drug rehabilitation which is the reason behind his offending.”
Murray, from Leach Street, Great Lever, Bolton, was also fined £120.
