Shaun the Sheep is coming to Greater Manchester this summer.

RHS Garden Bridgewater, Salford, has teamed up with the Academy Award-winning studio Aardman to deliver a summer of fun featuring the beloved character.

Scheduled for July 20 to September 1 this year, the programme promises an array of indoor and outdoor activities that will keep little ones engaged throughout their summer holiday.

From taking part in Shaun the Sheep's Great Garden Adventure, to joining "O'Lamb'pic" games, the activities span the 154-acre garden.

Children can also add to the greenery by planting lamb's lettuce to watch it grow at home or show off their artistic side by creating a mini-version of Shaun at the Claystation sessions.

The young explorers can also embark on an exciting Welly Walk, or partake in musical workshops and interactive storytelling sessions.

Children are also invited to track down three 'Wild in Art' Shaun the Sheep sculptures hidden around the garden.

Daily activities include the 'family trail' and 'hide and sheep' that run from 10am to 6pm, where kids can search for Shaun in an interactive, augmented reality adventure using Aardman’s free app.

The 'Shaun’s O’Lamb’pics' are scheduled from 10am to 4pm daily.

Kids aged six and up can channel their creativity in Claystation sessions, available on selected dates.

Activities each day may vary and unless specified, they are included in the cost of the admission ticket.
