A Bolton man has been given a restraining order after hurling homophobic abuse at his neighbour.
Scott Shaw, 47, of Emmanuel Close, was given a 12-month restraining order after homophobically abusing his neighbour in March.
He was also sentenced to a 12 month community order with 20 rehabilitation days (uplifted from 15 for homophobia).
He was also ordered to pay a £249 fine, which includes costs and charged.
A spokesperson for CPS North West said: “Scott Shaw, 47, from Bolton, was issued with a 12mth restraining order after homophobically abusing his neighbour in March.
“He was also sentenced to a 12 month community order with 20 rehabilitation days (uplifted from 15 for homophobia) and ordered to pay £249 - fine, costs and charges.”
