A rotary club celebrated 70 years of service to its community last month.
Horwich Inner Wheel has been at the heart of the town for seven decades.
The aims and objectives of the society are to promote true friendship, to encourage the ideals of personal service and to foster international understanding.
Last month, the Horwich branch held an event at Bolton Golf Club with members and friends to celebrate its 70th anniversary.

Margaret Hartley of Horwich Inner Wheel said: "In June, Horwich Inner Wheel Club members enjoyed a memorable Charter to celebrate 70 years of supporting the community and various charities.
"The event was held at Bolton Golf Club with members and friends enjoyed a meal and were entertained by Phoenix Knights Male Voice Choir who were presented with a cheque for their chosen charity.
