A popular park was closed off after a woman was discovered dead in a vehicle.
The police were called to Clifton Country Park at 4pm on Wednesday (July 10).
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said the popular park was closed off after a woman was discovered dead in a vehicle. They did not share any information about the age or the identity of the woman at this time.
There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A GMP spokesperson said: "We have been in attendance at Clifton Country Park where sadly the body of a woman was found in a vehicle shortly after 4pm. The woman's family have been informed and are being supported.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances."
