An appeal has gone out to help find a man in his 80s who has gone missing.
The 86-year-old, who police have named as “Frank” was last seen on Ullswater Road in Tyldesley at around 11am on Saturday July 5.
Officers have now appeal for anyone who may have seen him or who has any information about his whereabouts to come forward.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Can you help police find a missing man from Tyldesley?
“Frank is 86 years old and was last seen on Ullswater road, Tyldesley.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is safe and well.”
According to police, Frank is around five feet seven inches tall and is of medium build with grey hair that is balding on top.

They say that he was last seen wearing a grey top and navy-blue trousers.
Police often issue missing person appeals like this across the region and elsewhere to try and prompt members of the public who may know anything to come forward and help them.
