A crash reportedly happened between an unmarked police car and a Mercedes-Benz in Bolton last night.
Eyewitnesses said a police scene was in place on Shepley Avenue, Deane at around 9pm on the evening of Friday, July 5.
It appears that a black BMW, which looks to have been used as an unmarked police car, was involved in a collision with a grey Mercedes.
An eyewitness said: “At least one person was detained, and seized items seem to include a phone and banknote.
“Around seven officers were present, some not in full uniform.”
Images from the scene appear to show the black Volkswagen with blue police lights flashing and a grey Mercedes-Benz close by with two police vans behind.
Further images show a black BMW, which seems to have been damaged, and a police officer with a bag of what appears to have been seized material.
As yet no serious injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
