The main stage is in Victoria Square, with artists performing throughout venues in Bolton.

The line-up tonight includes EMF, the hit 90s band behind 'Unbelievable'.

Speaking about the event, organiser Ivan Crompton said: "Ticket sales have been fantastic, door sales have been fantastic, the weather has been fantastic!

"Even last year when it rained, people turned up, but more than ever it has been really good.

"It's good for the town as well, trying to get more and more people into the town centre.

"Everyone has been really pleased with the line up."

This year the festival coincides with Bolton being named Greater Manchester's Town of Culture for 2024.

The festival will also have food and drink stalls, seating areas, and other attractions.
