It was a terrible night for the Tories, and a great night for Labour. With the Conservatives facing a wipeout in the face of massive Labour gains, the result was replicated in Bolton, with Labour sweeping all three seats.
Chris Green – who was defending his Bolton West seat – is out, and Bolton North East – previously held by former Conservative Mark Logan – has also switched to Labour.
