"The first was the Mountain Bike Madness event in Leverhulme Park, Bolton. This event saw approximately 120 competitors complete as many laps of a tough, one mile loop as they could within an hour.
"The second event was the Two Lads Fell Race. Organised by Horwich RMI Harriers, this event involved over 100 runners taking on a challenging, 8.4km course. Starting in Horwich, the route took competitors in a loop high onto the moors overlooking the town, then back into the town.
"Thanks to the organisers of both events for having us."
