Star of the BBC's popular ancient Egypt series 'Immortal Egypt' will be in Bolton next month.

Professor Joann Fletcher will be taking people on a journey through the history of mummification at Bolton Museum.

Beginning with the very beginnings of mummification during Egypt's prehistory, the professor looks at its development through time using evidence from Bolton and museums around the world and how modern experimental mummification has helped today's understanding.

The session takes place on Saturday, July 13, starting at 10am.
