Bolton Council’s Chief Executive, Sue Johnson, said: “Every summer it’s always great to see Bolton embrace the arrival of IRONMAN 70.3 weekend and it’s no wonder the athletes know us as a friendly and welcoming place.

“Across the weekend, there is a real variety of events. Night Run Bolton UK has options for casual joggers and dedicated runners alike, IRONKIDS encourages our young people to be active and enjoy exercise, and IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton provides a stern test for determined athletes.

“So, whether you are taking part or cheering the athletes on, you’ll be joining a fantastic weekend of action and I hope you have a wonderful time.”
